Reminded photos on Flickr

These images remind me of my friend Malia. She reminded me of the beauty in these kinds of images, the magic behind a long exposure and moving the camera recording light trails, those are the kinds of images that started me doing light paintings in the first place. She seemed so excited when I taught her this technique, her enthusiasm made me want to do more of them. I think it would be nice to continue these in her memory and teach others with cancer these techniques so they too can see the magic that's all around us wanting to be discovered.

This is the group that delivered the second 2017 Fair Vote Waterloo Region Petition to Kitchener-Centre MP Raj Saini's office on Friday November 10th, 2017.

Raj refused to allow me to take photographs of the meeting in his office, citing "privacy" as a concern. And here I thought elected Members of Parliament were public servants. I tried to find an Ombudsman to complain to but couldn't find one.

A fluke- before I totally got the hang of the vignetter, I accidentally double-exposed two of the quadrants here, and left the other two blank. I kept this because it was interesting- one even reminded me of a playing card (like one of the face cards, with a head on the top and bottom).
