It seems like I am always making a mechanical spider in my art or hobbies these days at any given point, and it looking at how spiderlike my "crab" ends up looking like, I guess this meme continues on.
I wanted to blend both mechanical and real crab features into a remake of the good old ussal crab from the island of Mata Nui.
This MOC was made for the #Bionicle20ans collaborative project.
As Bionicle turns 20 this year, the Bionifigs community will celebrate these two decades of biological chronicles through all of 2021.
Each month will be dedicated to a year in the history of Bionicle - in March we focus on 2003.

This figure was originally intended as a one off for my friend Scout who played Laurie Strode in the Rob Zombie remake of the Halloween movies.
I am working on other "horror" figures so this one was bumped up to a production figure to be included in that line.

Bought new shoes this week and remembered Supra's 2008 promotional pic for the upcoming season of that year. I decided I would try to remake this advertisement for fun and I like the way it turned out... alot actually. Not quite exact, but it still gives the effect.

A remake of an ancient self-moc I can't find any photos of. I always liked the rocky texture on those Stronius parts, and once I paired them with the piraka foot the rest just sorta fit together. Inspired by Havel from Darksouls and the other ptsd I obtained from Elden Ring.
Esta semana el reto ha sido muy difícil!!!! Por una parte elegir entre tanta fotografía fantástica y por otra intentar acercarse a una de ellas.
Mi reto de ésta semana va dedicado a Ana Perez. Cuando vi su foto me pareció maravillosa y me propuse probar la idea. En ese momento no sabía lo que me iba a costar realizarla. Ana me tienes que explicar como conseguirlo!!!!
Pero además he tenido la suerte de conocerla este fin de semana. Y como dice Bego... Ana es una mujer reversible: guapa por dentro y guapa por fuera.

A remake of von Nebula was my idea fix for almost a year. Didn't want to change overall appearance wery much because he already looked cool as a set . And yeah, somehow he became a Toxic Reapa in terms of weapon :D.
And I made a new feature fon N. - body hump opens to reveal Da Sekret Weepahn.

Rene Magritte's painting (Clairvoyance-1939) and Antoine de Saint Exupery' Masterpiece ( The little prince) was the source of inspiration for me. As Rene Magritte said, "everything we see Hides a meaning, and we always want to find the hidden meaning in what we see." we can find tons of hidden meaning on a single subject. It depends on how we see the world around us.
