Zofia went with Grandma today, and Joe stayed home with the dog, so Flo got to be an "only child" for the day, to accompany me and Darren on a relaxing Sunday drive to Rockville. We got some snacks at MOM's Market and Whole Foods, and perused the big Banes and Noble store down there for awhile. Fun.

With the best-ever Gourmet Traveller and my favourite yoghurt. Weekend relaxing doesn't get much better.
Twm relaxing in the sun at Llynon Mill on a peaceful day just over a couple of years ago.
All natural light - I liked how the sun caught his hair as he lay there enjoying the warmth, and I had to go click!
Any and all comments welcome.
30th March 2010: Relaxing after watching a documentary about a poltergeist which was disappointingly not that scary
A.G.Matoš is the central figure of Croatian moderna. He entered into Croatian literature in 1892 with a short story called Moć savjesti (The Power of Conscience). Its publication is considered the start of Croatian moderna. Matoš started seriously writing and publishing poetry in his late period, around 1906, and wrote only around 80 poems. I apologize for the poem in Croatian, but my humble self does not dare to translate the work of such a great artist.
SERENADA
Ja te volim, jer si fantasta
Ko žuta Luna i stara gitara,
Ko slatka nježnost slavujeve pjesme,
Što majsko veče bojom tuge šara.
Ja te volim, jer si ko zvijezda:
Visoko—sama, i suze jer tvoje,
Što krišom plačeš, ko kajanje truju
I more budne, mučne noći moje.
Ja te volim, jer si ljubav Zemlje
Iz koje niknuh, Hrvatice draga:
Ko Bogomajka na Kamenih vratih
Što dušom sija kada preko praga
Gričkog bruji mračni Angelus.
Ja te ljubim! Zašto? Ne znam.—Jer si
Mi draga, dušo, ko nada što vara,
Ko sjetne pjesme i sjene što veze—
Ta žuta Luna i gitara stara.

this is my sister, tamber, and her friend, courtney. they were hanging out in the hammock and asked me to take a picture. tamber didn't like this one because she says it looks like she's chewing, but out of the three i took, i think this picture came out the best.

The living room is relatively clean, I found my guitar tuner (and played a good ten minutes before my fingers hurt too much) and a cup of coffee...
Relaxing on a Sunday morning.
