On Saturday, Ben & Jerry's partnered with Flavorpill to bring a little community beautification to Micheltorena Elementary School in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Friends and fans came from far and wide to lend a helping hand as we painted a vibrant, happy mural on the Kindergarten wall. To keep the volunteers going, we rocked out to live music from The One AM Radio and chowed down on cool, yummy scoops of Bonnaroo Buzz and Late Night Snack. It was truly an awesome day and we know the mural will bring plenty of smiles to faces of the kids at Micheltorena.

Sarie was so cute relaxing this morning that I put her up against my backdrop to catch some photos. She settled right down to relax mode and I was able to catch my little sweetheart chilling out on a comfy fall day. I am home with her today. These are the days memories are made of!

It was a busy with a relaxing end. I went to the shop with David to work on the car we're buying (forgot my camera, so no pictures yet). Then we walked to the store and got some stuff for dinner and walked back. At the end of it all ... my feet hurt, my ankle hurt, and my hip felt like it was trying to run away. Oh and lets not forget about what I believe is gymnastic or ballet class going on in my belly! But now we relax!

Zofia went with Grandma today, and Joe stayed home with the dog, so Flo got to be an "only child" for the day, to accompany me and Darren on a relaxing Sunday drive to Rockville. We got some snacks at MOM's Market and Whole Foods, and perused the big Banes and Noble store down there for awhile. Fun.

Shame on me for relaxing instead of getting in my run/walk. We put up the hammock about a month ago and it is such a great place to just relax. Our gym opened today, so I may go on Wednesday for the first time. I've got to get back to my regular gym workouts!

A.G.Matoš is the central figure of Croatian moderna. He entered into Croatian literature in 1892 with a short story called Moć savjesti (The Power of Conscience). Its publication is considered the start of Croatian moderna. Matoš started seriously writing and publishing poetry in his late period, around 1906, and wrote only around 80 poems. I apologize for the poem in Croatian, but my humble self does not dare to translate the work of such a great artist.
