Relaxing in the shade at our place. Don't remember why they went outside - probably to give Ashleigh some peace and quiet to nurse Lizzie, who was just about 12 weeks old at this date.

Haven't done a b/w in awhile, but thought it looked nicely here. Was playing around with the color version, and then decided this looked pretty cool. Went with some blues so it's not a "full" b/w.
The G is yellow, as you probably know, but to be honest I think the hood would look better on a white G. Wasn't feeling it on the all yellow car....

Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, the finest of its kind in Asia, the largest of the botanical gardens of Sri Lanka, couldn't be better located. In the Mediterranean climate of Kandy, the gateway to the Central Highlands, the Gardens, at an elevation of 500 meters above sea-level, were tightly bounded on three sides by a loop of River Mahaweli (Great sandy river), the largest river of Sri Lanka.The town of Peradeniya is located at a distance of 110km from Colombo and another 6km over the Peradeniya Birdge and you are at Kandy, home to the sacred Temple of Tooth.
Seals taking a break from the feeding and living ... chilling on the rocks along the Atlantic Ocean between Canada and Maine.
Only a few minutes to rest in the middle of an extremely long working hours, are sufficient to charge the batteries. :-)
