A piece from my sketchbook. the color is a bit more saturated than the original.

I can't really swim all that well, despite having taken lessons for multiple summers and having tried more than a few times to learn. Its just not something I seem able to do. Because of that I never ended up going on too many trips with others to go swimming. This isn't meant as a literal interpretation of that fact, but that particular sort of rejection does play a part in its import.

I've got a whole sunroom that's now chock-a-block with pottery I've made, ranging from various rejects, glaze tests, second-quality pottery (otherwise good stuff with random chips or glaze problems), and the occasional piece that I just don't like.

Usually I smash these, but these are pieces that people get upset to see me destroy.

So here's the deal: I'm giving these away on a first-come-first-served basis.

I was going to use this as my 52week photo but I look like such a mong I decided against it. I liked the bokeh of the snow though.

Minnowknits Twizzletops hat...S flat out rejected it and whipped it off her head as fast as her little fingers could get it off! I thought she'd like it because of the colors and figures, but one never ever knows with a two year old. I think her mom bribed her to get this quick photo!
