Copley Square Hotel
A 2008 renovation buffed out a lot of the history of the second-oldest operating hotel in the U.S., but just know that the Copley Square has hosted many notables since its 1891 opening, including Babe Ruth, Billie Holiday and several presidents going back to McKinley.

It is a beautiful glass pyramid, with a golden miniature of an airplane inside, which was a gift from the airplane manufacturer McDonnell Douglas to the crew that was in charge of receiving an MD88, registration EC-FIG, which was the third to be delivered, fresh from the factory, for the Spanish company Aviaco Líneas Aéreas.
The delivery ceremony took place before dozens of journalists, workers from the manufacturing company and the receiving company in October 1991, at the Long Beach airport, where the main factory of the McDonnell Douglas company was located.
It was a noble and elegant airplane, with its virtues and defects, like any design produced by human beings, which hardly flies in the skies of this planet anymore.
I completed more than 12,000 flight hours in this formidable bird, first as co-pilot and then as captain.
It's funny that even though the manufacturer obviously didn't know about my interest in ancient civilizations, they gave me a pyramid as a gift...

The Austin K8 was a distinctive commercial vehicle produced by the Austin Motor Company, and used the 2.2 litre engine taken from the Austin 16 h.p.
As with other Austin commercial vehicles, it was put to a wide variety of uses, including the well-known ‘3-Way’ van (so-called because of the three sets of doors – at the front, the side and the rear), but also other more specialised uses, such as the ‘Welfarer’ ambulance and even small coaches.

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, more widely known as Cathay Pacific, is the flag carrier of Hong Kong, with its head office and main hub located at Hong Kong International Airport. In 1979, the first Boeing 747 VR-HKG arrived in Hong Kong. With its introduction into the company's fleet, Cathay Pacific has transformed from a regional carrier into a global player with a network of long-haul flights. This legacy continued with the new and improved 747-400, introduced in 1989, which opened up many more non-stop, long-haul destinations across Europe and North America – connecting people across all corners of the world. For the last memorable flight, marked by a flight over Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong, tickets were sold out in a matter of minutes.

UPS Airlines, a major American cargo airline based in Louisville, Kentucky, is among the world’s largest in terms of traffic volume. The history of its parent company, United Parcel Service (UPS), in the air cargo industry dates back to 1929 when it began transporting parcels as baggage on commercial flights. This service ceased in 1931 due to the Great Depression, but in the 1950s, UPS reentered the air travel market with its Blue Label Air service, offering two-day coast-to-coast delivery. UPS Airlines was formally established in 1988 as a subsidiary of UPS.
Currently, UPS Airlines operates flights to 815 destinations worldwide, utilizing the "hub-and-spoke" system. Its primary hub is Worldport at Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville. The airline also maintains several international hubs, including two in North America, two in Europe, three in China, one in Malaysia, and one in the Philippines.
The active fleet of UPS Airlines comprises 291 aircraft, including 43 Boeing 747F aircraft, 13 of which are 747-400F models.

Air Canada is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Canada by fleet size and passengers carried. It is headquartered in the borough of Saint-Laurent in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The airline, founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for passengers and cargo to 207 destinations worldwide. It is a founding member of the Star Alliance.
On October 19, 2004, Air Canada introduced a new livery in new and unexpected colors. On this day, the Boeing 767-300ER, painted silver-blue, was presented. The former dark green tail has acquired a new, very complex color scheme with gradients of different shades of the palette of Canadian nature. All colors were applied to the keel of the aircraft using raster dots of various sizes, from large, clearly visible at a great distance, to small, easily fitting inside larger ones and visible only when standing next to the aircraft.
This livery became known as the "Frosted Leaf" and caused a mixed reaction among professionals and aviation enthusiasts. Whatever it was, but this color scheme "lasted" thirteen years. On February 9, 2017, a new red and black aircraft livery was released to mark the 80th anniversary of Air Canada and the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation.

BSA established a motor division in 1907, ,aking use of available manufacturing space at their Sparkbrook, Birmingham factory. with sales handled by BSA Cycles Limited. By 1909 it was becoming clear that the new motorcar division was becoming unsuccessful.
Dudley Docker had become a member of the BSA board in and Chairman in 1909, believing he could bring in management expertise he started merger talks with The Daimler Company Limited of Coventry. Following the merger, BSA continued to produce cars of their own, using Daimler engines
In 1912 Car production transferred to Coventry, range reduced to one model, 13.9 h.p. 2015 cc also (briefly) sold by Siddeley-Deasy with a different radiator shell as Stoneleigh. This car combined semi-elliptic front suspension with transverse rear springing. The bodies built at Sparkbrook were among the first all-metal bodywork. Engines gearboxes and back axles were supplied for other Siddeley-Deasy cars
