This would make a 'Refreshing' change from being cooped up at home at the moment. A scene at Broadstairs, East Kent, where we would be spending a few days under normal circumstances.

in the days before the foxfield light railway reached the main colliery sidings , locomotives took water at a small tree shaded platform just in front of the colliery --here two saddle tanks are being dealt with in the early 1990's

This miserable little piece of modeling was one of my first "scratch built" efforts. It has been many things on many layouts. Actually, I am right proud of it, because you see so many of these little structures in the rural south. The "refreshments" referred to come from down the hill a piece; they will be show anon. State tuned....
Don't forget to rehydrate often this summer. I can't begin to describe the dire consequences if you do not. Do yourself a favor, and those around you as well to drink up! Kampai!

It'd been well over a year since we shared a big tub of popcorn and a large Mr. Pibb at the movie theater!
on my way home from a bike ride i stopped by this roadside store for a cold drink of fresh coconut juice. these small roadside stores are very popular with truckers and the transient motorists wanting to take a break from their long ride or rest from traffic. they serve the usual sandwiches or some local delicacies such as turon, banana-Q or camote-Q. their ice cold fresh coconut juice is also fantastic.
While train crew and passengers take a stretch break and refreshments on the platform, Indian Railways ZDM-3 190 waits at Kangra station with the 07:00 Pathankot Junction to Baijnath Paprola Passenger 3PB.
The Kangra Valley Railway [KVR] is a a 2ft 6ins [762 mm] gauge line that runs from Pathankot, Punjab to Joginder Nagar in Himachal Pradesh. It was built in the 1920s to transport heavy equipment to the hydro-electric dam site. It is circa 100 miles [164 kms] in length and runs through the rural sub-Himalayan region of North West India. It is a little gem and although a remote, no frills community line, is well worth a visit. Maybe one day I can get back to this part of Himachal Pradesh?

The onyx tiles where reclaimed from an estate fireplace front,
The polished black stones I bought,I did do the caving and mosaic,
The doors are not open it looks that way because the way I join the wood it was done intentionally,
You can create magic just by placing the wood in certain way.

In my city, sometimes we have birds dragging up the water from fountains ;)
I came across this thirsty crow today, walking through the park. I noticed its funny and highly unusual maneuvers around this fountain. Luckily I had the tele mounted...
The statue/fountain is called "The boy on the Swan" and is located in Kongens Have (Kings Garden) in the heart of Copenhagen.
