Nothing like heading out to the beach for sunrise walk, photoshoot, surfing or even just sitting down by the beach and enjoying the view and the fresh air.

Elakala Falls #2
Shay's Run
Blackwater Falls State Park
Taken two days after heavy rains - and my previously posted image - Elakala #2 still had some great waterflow and silty colored water. I photographed the falls of Elakala on numerous occasions during my stay last month - either alone or with friends - I have many different images of the falls, taken in various stages of waterflow and / or under various conditions of light. I trust as I post more images of these beautiful waterfalls, you won't tire of them . . . I know I never tire of seeing or photographing them.

The locomotive is part of a rebuilding program by CN, and the unit's classification is now SD70IACC.
many people don't know what picture is this~
actually, this picture is lots of water drops on a leaf. I got that bokeh because of the reflection from the sun light.
Hols just around the corner so I always put my soft type trainers in the washer with loads of conditioner & they come out sparkling ! ;-)))))

After the frustrations of last night I went for something much easier today. Plus the contents make it all worthwhile :)

I went to Dundas ON to a hobby store to look for some model railroad figures. You will love what I found, but I have only done some preliminary shots. So on the way back I drove through Ancaster and visited a Falls I have not been to in awhile. This is Sherman Falls, One of my favourites in the Hamilton area.

Its been too cold and to dead looking for me to have any motivation to shoot these past couple months. Its now warm, the bees are buzzing, and the flowers are out and making me sneeze. I figured tonight was as good a night as any other to get my butt out there again.
:) you're all so great you know that?
Terrible hot in Spain... And it's just June. I don't want to think about how it will be in August

Water from tap streaming into a beer-bottle and out again.
Strobist: One flash with 1/16 behind the bottle (protected with a plastic bag), a second flash at 1/32 from top right. Both triggered with Yongnuo wireless transmitters. The blueish color of the water was done with white balance in post-processsing.
I'm feeling refreshed this morning since another quarter at UW is under my belt.
I took this shot at the Japanese Garden in the Seattle Arboretum last weekend. The morning dew was still clinging to the leaf.
