📷 Photographer's notes:
☞ This is a close-up. The blossom appears larger in the image than it did in 'real' life.
☞ The statewide COVID-19 shelter-at-home order allows my dog and me to take short walks together. The camera comes with us.

Blythe a Day. February 2026. Day 26.
A Blue Jay that has just taken a quick dip in the pond. It spent about 15 minutes drying and fluffing up its plumage.
A rainy Monday to suit the mood of going back to the office. Luckily my break time was fairly dry and I had the good sense to pull my camera out of my bag.
I didn't end up shooting much else today and by doing so early in the day I avoided that usual last minute scramble that seems to be routine lately.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
