The cooling down after the rain is lovely for a while and the scent on the air is equally delicious.
Digital artist (and, dare I add, technological entertainer) @seb_ly talked at a Refresh Cambridge meetup. He told us about his relationships with computers, programming and technology, and how he ended up doing what he is doing now, which is pretty cool. And involves lasers!
This is a picture of the laser of an optical mouse, taken with a camphone. It was visibly flickering at some points, but at this moment, it was flicking too fast to be noticed as a flicker

The second LC-A film from the summer - Fuji 100 ASA slide film. Still got the lovely red tones and vignetting on the XPro. No colour adjustments on this shot.
I love the blond - came out more timeless than I had hoped, which is a bonus!
I couldn't remember the last time i really felt refreshed and then it hit me. when i was in college i was an older student. i was fortunate enough to get to know about 6-7 older women who were either college professors or older students such as myself. we started meeting once a month alternating homes. we would wear great hats (long before the royal wedding!! LOL), drink wine and tea, and laugh. there was always show and tell and we encouraged each other on our projects. after about five hours we were exhausted but full of faith in our projects and our ability to be artist. I need to find some YAA YAA's! My back ground was made by using a hot glue gun to create designs in the bottom of a cookie sheet. i peal them up and then arrange them onto the surface of my paper. spay some paint and repeat with different colors of paint until i like it.
