This is one of 3 sneak peeks of Kasumi with her new Face up I did some time ago. It was the third try on her and definitely the best result I had for her since then, when you ask me. I totally love it and I'm much satisfied, what's definitely rare for me. XD *lol* My most favourite part of her is the lip blushing with the two-toned lip lines (white and brown colored). It was a kind of little experiment with the lip lines and I'm fully happy with how it came out. <333 *love*
I know she definitely looks much different than before, she looks much more naturally now with a tiny bit more colors. Also she got another style this time for this pictures for some reasons, but she's still herself and that's the main important thing for me. :)

Refreshing plans for an afternoon so warm even the most rambunctious squirrels are moving at an ambling pace. Word puzzles and ginger-peach iced tea in front of a fan until dinner. Thanks for stopping by and keep cool.😎

Picture Spring Day 8: the sparkle of spring
Today for the Picture Spring workshop, we prompted to capture the sparkle of water droplets. This is something I love to do, but I have never done it when it hasn't actually been wet outside. So I carried around a spray bottle all day, and I was actually disappointed with the quality of the drops.
Late in the day I tried this shot with seltzer and fruit. I've been going back and forth about using this one or my magnolia one for the assignment. Right now it's this one. I like the other a lot, but this is more "sparkly."
Today's BRAND NEW airbrushed style pinup photo features Melissa in a 1940s style Coca Cola advertisement! From the 1930s into the 1940s, Coca Cola pushed the 'Coca Cola Girl' into their advertising quite heavily. Often doing some everyday task from working in a factory, serving in the military, or even playing at the beach with the gals always taking a break from their current task to have a Coke (in order to 'Refresh' themselves before continuing on with that task). This retro advertisement is part of the ongoing Coca Cola original ad recreations. The colors, fonts, language, and graphics of these have been meticulously researched and recreated to match the original style of the advertisements.

My 13th annual work anniverary at the wind company.
And here we are in Spain.
We are, indeed, on our holibobs.
We lay in to half seven, get up and have showers before putting on our finest summer perambulating dress and then heading down to the first floor for breakfast of fruit and fresh bread rolls and sweet pastries. And lashings of strong coffee.
Many nations represented in the breakfast bar, we ate well, then left for a walk.
It was a glorious day, clear blue skies and already getting warmer that would nudge into hot later. Best get out and enjoy the day before it gets too warm. Or hot.
The city is split by a long, sunken green park which was once the bed of the river, but that has now diverted and now is a great community green space., and our plan was to walk eastwards to the complex of modern buildings, and take lots of photos.
Even once outside the hotel it felt hot, the sun reflecting off the pavement, so we wanted to get to the park ASAP to take shelter under the trees which offered shade.
We found a ramp leading from the streets down to the shaded park, and along paths past people doing early morning yoga and keep fit classes, and birds doing it is what birds do at this time of year.
We stop at regular intervals, making the walk seem longer than it was. There's a children's play area in the shape of Gulliver, so the kids would play on his body turned into an adventure area.
Under two bridges, now over the park, and while there was some street art, mostly it was as intended when built.
It was as warm as a summer's day back home, but still only mid-morning, so we took took time in our ramblings, past faux classical columns and ornamental lakes to the Centre for the Arts, like a giant marooned Armadillo in the centre of a large lake.
After the classical Spanish design of the houses and hotels, it is quite the shock, but there is a guiding design of that, the sunken Hemisphere cinema, the Natural History museum and other buildings of the zoo beyond. Even the bridges are of a similar design.
It is quite breathtaking.
And big.
It must contain a concert hall, and is as striking as the Sydney Opera House, it looks like a cross between a space ship and a huge egg opening, lines and layers everywhere.
More so that there were so few people about, so we got fine shots of the buildings starkly contrasting against the deep blue sky behind.
The Centre for the Arts is like a space ship, marooned in a lake, all sweeping lines in a modern off white colour, though it as the Restaurant wasn't yet open for the thirsty photographers.
In fact the buildings are coated in a white mosaic, but gives the impression of being a smooth finish. But isn't.
Over a walkway and through the Hemisphere to the Museum beyond. The Hemisphere is a cinema, with the auditorium sunken below the lake. People were going in for the first show of the day, UK in 3D. I wonder what their crime was to deserve such punishment?
We find a kiosk selling beers, sodas and snacks. Even though it wasn't quite half ten, a beer was called for, and olive oil flavoured crisps.
Once we had drunk, we walked to the other side of the museum, under the bridge, and round the other side, where the water was filled with the young in rowing boats and on electrical floats, with the males on the electrical floats showing how manly they are by trying to sink the females of the species in the rowing boats. And somehow the species survives.
With the mobile phone, we were able to find a place to eat, at the base of a condo the other side of the main road, and a small bar offered tapas and wines. We ordered "several" tapas and a bottle of rose wine, the food kept coming until it almost became unfunny. All the food was fabulous, and we made the wine vanish.
We could have walked home, but instead found the taxi ranks and so caught a cab for the five minute drive to the hotel, so we could snooze through the siesta.
In the room we slept for a couple of hours, then refreshed, went out to walk around the neighbourhood and end up in the Irish bar where a pint of Budvar and a small bottle of Chimay blue was made to vanish too.

Next to the hotel was a small snack bar that did slices of pizza, so we had one of those each before retiring to the room to follow the football.
Frequent visits to the water tubs rejuvenate Tashi and all her dog park comrades. Tashi, a Chocolate Lab / Australian Shepherd mix, is almost six months old now.
I love this season. I love the smell after a warm rain shower when the sun is just peeking out from behind the clouds.

New in 1985 in Coastliner livery, ECW Leyland olympian B521 UWW passed to York briefly between 1989 and 1990 before going to Harrogate and returning to Coastliner for the spring of 1992, then to Keighley in April 1992 where it resided until withdrawl from service in 2013.
Between 1978 and 1982 the National Bus Company undertook some market analysis in order to reshap and refresh the NBC brand. Rolled within this was the concept of using dedicated branded vehicles for certain routes, with the West Yorkshire operation looking at their long distance services to the Yorkshire Coast from Leeds. Using standard Leyland Leopard coaches and ten new ECW coach seated Olympians, such as B521 UWW, in the two tone blue NBC 'Venetian Blind' livery. The Yorkshire Coastliner fleet and identity was created, operating from Malton depot. De-regulation saw the West Yorkshire operation of the former NBC split up into smaller sub-companies.
The Yorkshire Coastliner operation as a seperate entity came into being in 1990, with the existing vehicles having been repainted into their 2nd livery for the operation, of which 421 in the photo is depicted wearing. These WYRCC Olympians stayed at malton until being replaced in 1992 by Northern Counties Leyland Olympians with private registrations (K2YCL-K7YCL, 402-407).
As part of Yorkshire Coastliner's 25 birthday event preserved 421 met up with the current 421, Volvo B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 BD11 CEA, at York Parliament Street and spent the day together, with some 26 years between them from when they were new. Surprisingly only these two double deckers have carried the fleet number 421, with a Mercedes Benz 709D G921WGS carrying the number in the early 1990's - meanwhile the number 422 was carried by Royale M922MYG, the third Royale in the fleet following two pre-production examples the year previous.

Time flies by when you are having fun... For Korean Air, it marks just over a year since the flag-carrier introduced their new livery and branding as a result of the merger between themselves and Asiana Airlines which should be full confirmed no later than 2027. Since its been a year since the unveiling of Korean Air's new livery and branding, it has certainly grown on me, helped by the sheen provided by the light blue which is the main colour of the livery.
Whilst the repainting programme regarding the passenger fleet has been remarkably swift, the cargo fleet has been less-so going at a snails pace with just only one aircraft having received the new livery, going to HL8285 which received the new colours in late-October 2025.
Korean Air's ongoing integration of Asiana Airlines sees the latter's own cargo subsidiary having since been sold off as to ensure Korean Air does not have a monopoly of cargo flights to and from South Korea. Despite this, Korean Air is undertaking a major modernisation programme of their cargo subsidiary with next-generation Airbus A350Fs and Boeing 777-8Fs on-order.
Currently, Korean Air operates 43 Boeing 777s, which includes 12 Boeing 777Fs, 4 Boeing 777-300s and 27 Boeing 777-300ERs. Korean Air have 8 Boeing 777-8Fs and 40 Boeing 777-9s on-order.
Hotel Lima Eight Two Eight Five is one of 12 Boeing 777Fs operated by Korean Air, delivered new to the flag-carrier on 24th February 2014 and she is powered by 2 General Electric GE90-110B1 engines.
Boeing 777-FB5 HL8285 on final approach into Runway 09L at London Heathrow (LHR) on KE503 from Seoul-Incheon (ICN).
