They raised money to purchase containers and filled it with basic supplies such as rice, sugar, deodorant, soap, toiletpaper etc. They beforehand asked a few members of the community to gather information on which houses were most in need of supplies and vision care. Despite the unfavorable conditions of the room and the weather for retinsocopy, I was keen on delivering refractive services to schoolchildren with uncorrected refractive errors to alleviate the burden of vision impairement.

When a child becomes blind, they tend to have many more blind years, which affects their quality of life. Providing spectacles to these children and seeing them see again is really heart warming.
