New York City (NYC) viewed from Jersey City, NJ. It was a great night for shooting as the Hudson was perfectly calm. Venus star trail is also visible just above the city. This was towards the end of a long photo shoot overnight and ended with high tide coming in and me not noticing that fact until too late. All was well though except for a bit of a soaking.

Never managed to get this shot before, either no rain (bizarrely), too many people, no people... Lucky tonight though!

I decided to develop this one in b&w as well... it started bc i thought it would look nice framed and one thing lead to another....

Take time to stop today

Take time to stop a while

Reflect on how life changes

Then take the time to smile

Know that as the days go by

These things that challenge you

Will one day just be memories

Of times you have gone through

Look back now on yesterday

And all you have achieved

Recognise the strengths you’ve gained

The blessings you’ve received

One day in the future

You will think about today

You’ll see just how these challenges

Have helped you on your way

Have a great Wednesday.....and thanks for all your visits!!!!!

Reflected light hitting the buildings taken a few mins ago from my living room in Toronto.

Happy weekend and thanks for visiting, enjoy each day!

It's been a busy couple of weeks at work, so I thought I'd take the chance to spend a Saturday morning with Steve at Fort Funston. We both haven't been to this location for several years so it was a good opportunity to see how our perspectives of this location have changed over time.

All comments, critiques and feedback both positive and negative welcome.

While I did not shoot as many architectural abstracts in San Francisco as I did in Toronto, I did get a few.... I believe this one was taken in the financial disctrict..... :-)

This was taken at Saunders beach, one of the northern beaches of Townsville. This was after all the recent rain we have had and the sky was so crystal clear and the air so fresh. There was a soft breeze and it wasn't excruciatingly hot lol You cannot ask for anything better than that : )

Because of the king tide there was a lot of damage to this beach and many trees had been washed off the bank, the locals are now a little closer to having absolute beach front views, about a metre I would say :)

Along the beach there were thousands of beautiful shells all with little creatures caught in them no longer able to make it back to the shore... kinda sad really.

This is where I took DeGlass to cloud catch as it was a perfect day for doing so....

By the time we left there were storm clouds coming overhead and the rain had started yet again...... from this lovely blue to grey and dreary....nature sure likes to put on shows :)

I am kinda tired this morning, not sure why I had a really early night, I think it is the prospect of going back to work ...i have only two days left, and I know you will not feel sorry for me after such a long break,,, but don't mind me if I do lol

DeGlass is excited to be starting his first term at school and shined himself up last night with glass cleaner and got his "tools for school" all oraganised. He is clever like that ;). We shall have to see how well he behaves at The Glass Academy.... ;)

That's enough from me, it is time to dance.... wake myself up ....

Happy today, tomorrow and yesterday was really nice too : ) Car
