This is a close up of the center of the Rosette nebula with a slant of trying to get all the Bok Globules that are across the bottom of shot and appear very prominently in the Rosette.

Once again the Hubble pallet in good use but not trying to get a strong Blue or green in the shot. Once again Narrow band and RGB stars

Transformer featured in the G1 cartoon series. From left to right Viewfinder, Spyglass and Spectro. The are fully transformable into a camera.

Playing with the 65x24 aspect ratio in the GFX100RF. The dial on the back of the camera makes it easy to try different aspect ratios. This is something you can do later in the computer, but seeing the different ratios in the camera when you're shooting encourages experimentation.

No reflectors used making of this image; other-than bird itself. shot from three meters from it. I was in supper stealth mode :-) bird almost landed on my head before perching on the tree.

When the circular fisheye lens is placed close enough to a square object it becomes distorted into a circle/sphere; see images in first comment below for more. OUS/OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences Building, Portland, OR NB26912

G1 Reflector - Inspired by the Revoltech figures I wanted to build a small but ultra-poseable figure. This is a Non-Transforming Transformer, if you would like to see actual Lego built transforming transformers please check out the rest of my page.

I have built a load of Decepticons and Autobots so watch this space for more builds to follow in the coming days.

It's too cold to go out tonight so I photographed a cheese grater on a mouse pad with a macro lens. Colors came out nice, I guess. Fun project.

Two objects reflecting waves. The Lovell Telescope surface reflects radio waves to the receiver in the focus tower, while high altitude ice crystals reflect light from the Sun which had set hours before and was below the horizon.

No idea what they were doing there, but I liked the idea of getting a picture.

Close up of a red warning reflector.

Driving around my city at night & found this sight. Someone went crazy with reflectors on this road!!

I have put this one in as it shows the use of a gold reflector to give the bride a golden glow. something a flash could not do.

These two are similiar to others previously posted, from the same rapid fire sequence of shots taken back on Sept. 6.

I was sitting on my computer and just glanced over at them. The sun coming in from the window gave the cool reflection.
