Taken while driving in Beirut. This is in Hamra..... I loved the many reflections that I saw on the buildings...
Some other contacts were posting reflections and so I decided to post a scene that was focused more on the reflection. This is an early morning capture from Armand Bayou. Even thought the mornings are still and hot, I still need the coffee while I enjoy the painting before me.

One of two rooms in the Italian pavilion that had mirrored surfaces on all its walls, floor and ceiling while images of Italy were being projected.
the sky is a reflection pointing the camera down and a flash, edit in LR5 crop I like this one as it gives the impression of looking up but in fact I was looking down.

The Jardin du Luxembourg (familiar nickname Luco) is a 224,500 m² public park and the largest in the city located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, France. Luxembourg is the garden of the French Senate, which is itself housed in the Luxembourg Palace.
The palace and gardens were built by architect Salomon de Brosse for Marie de' Medici from 1615 to 1627.

The gardens include a large, fenced-in playground that's very popular with local younger children and their parents and adjacent to it there's an excellent puppet theatre and a merry-go-round. On occasion, pony rides are also available. In addition, free musical performances are presented in a gazebo on the grounds and there's an anonymous, inexpensive restaurant nearby, under the trees, with both indoor and outdoor seating from which you can enjoy the music over a glass of wine.
The garden is enjoyable for its calm. On the little pond children play with miniature boats. The garden contains various statues and sculptures. Surrounding the pond are a series of statues of former French queens. The École nationale supérieure des Mines de Paris and the Odéon theatre stand next to the Luxembourg Garden.
"Balanced Reflection"

Water gathered in small pools all over the sandstone basins of the area immediately after a winter snow storm, providing an opportunity to capture Balanced Rock in a reflection. I shot this one a few hours before sunset, while clouds still gathered on the distant horizon. In the distant background are Turret Arch and the La Sal Mountains. Another great adventure with Dustin LeFevre and Steve Howa.

Recent heavy rain has left large puddles around the countryside. This one is at the park in front to the Pencil monument to the Battle of Largs in 1263. I liked the way that the limited amount of light in the gloaming sky that was causing the reflection also lit up the wet path to silhouette the family out for a walk. I used my little Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ40 set on automatic.
Garden reflections on our garage window ~ you will note the circular object (that's my bicycle hanging in the garage) and the "Grown" (that's a container of garden feed. I thought the reflections came out quite nicely!!

On Sunday afternoon, we went to one of our local parks (Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside, western Sydney) and the reflections on the lagoon were so beautiful. I couldn't resist taking some photos. It is often used for wedding photos and there were at least 10 weddings scattered around the park having photos done. It is a wonderful place for the children to run around and have fun as well.
