This is the pond just outside of the AT&T offices in the Hoffman Estates/South Barrington area, overlooking I-90 which I use everyday to and from work. I decided to stop by on my way home because the colors on these trees were so tempting. The reflection was a bonus. My thanks to the setting sun for the wonderful lighting.
Day 3 of Cycle Oregon 23 would be a long day...from Clarkston to Waitsburg. Good thing the morning started out flat along the Wawawai River. Just before Chief Timothy State Park, the breeze died and the water calmed down to this nice though not mirror reflection. I still like it and stopped for a photo op while the rest of CO seemingly went whizzing by. "Slowest one wins" is the motto of the ride, and for good reason.
Last wednesday , while Going back home ..stuck in traffic..
Decided to Relax at Samha petrol station , while having a cup of coffee, i saw nice reflection of the pedestrian bridge connecting two fuel station, Photo taken using Iphone 5s
Reached home at 10PM after 5hours of driving !!
Usually it takes only 1hour 15 minutes from Abudhabi to Dubai(Sports City)

I shared the photo with a few friends from MKE and all of them had the same question. Where was this taken from? The currently empty pools made a great mirror.
Frösåkers Brygga, Västerås, Sweden
In Sweden the sunsets last for hours. As midsummer approaches I find the horizon changing hues for three hours before a two hour darkness. Though the sun almost doesn't set, the weather is still quite chilly.
Frösåkers Brygga is a small Viking village my study abroad class stopped by on our weekend break. In lieu of studying clean technology, we ventured to try a more archaic lifestyle. The sunlit buildings was met with the smell of firewood which followed me long after the trip in the folds of my suitcase.

last week i started a collaboration with nobby999 - i will do some illustrations after his photographs. this is the first one.
the challenge in this picture was the reflection on the water. a clear composition and brightness marks this picture. with little white dots i set some lightpoints.

this is one of my favorite photos from our trip... maybe one of my favorite photos of all time. :-)
when I reviewed my photos, I discovered this little series of reflection pix... the sun was so brilliant, and everything was so shiny, I suppose. or maybe I was moving slowly and looking at everything with different eyes....anyway.... here they are.
P.S. (many months later) I realize that this is a miksang "light" photo or maybe some other category... anyway it was a "pure perception."
An image of my new art mannequin with her reflection in the window. I noticed her pose gives the impression that she is holding a phone to her ear - looking quite sad and poignant.

With my sister moving to Cheltenham soon(!) having sold her house in record time (well done Jue) - trying to find clothes (and a dress!) for the wedding - my headspace is filling up rapidly. Reflections taken in a puddle during a visit to Reddisher Woods, Ramsbottom. This was one of the first taken with my Sony F828 and where I purposely focussed on the reflection to get the blurring of the surrounding stones...makes a change doing this 'purposely'!!
