The bird itself is now not the most beautiful but the reflection is beautifully.

More in the reflections on black acrylic sheeting practice. This time using 3 glass beads which do not have holes in them as per the majority of beads but do have flat and rough bottoms. They are meant to be used for decoration in much the same way as stones or pebbles might adorn the surface of the soil of an indoor pot plant.
I can reveal that I find the hardest part of all this is the cleaning of the acrylic sheet to remove marks and dust particles. I hope some specialist polish I have on order will make this task much easier.
The hustle and bustle of a Manchester street corner is captured – at least partially – in the reflection of a shop window.

This image is a single frame, not a composite or double exposure. I make use of glass and puddles to bring a different dimension to some of my images. Additionally I use a polarized filter in order to find the best possible reflection by avoiding unwanted glare or shiny surfaces.
This is a shot from the Sweetwater Wetlands in Tucson, AZ. It is a magic place where there is still standing water in the desert. Mostly because of the effluent from the water treatment plant. It creates an oasis of life in the area and the place is teaming with life. It is a great place to watch birds and the sunset. This image is actually two different images that I have used to get the exposure correct in the sky and water. I wanted to maximize the color in both so I shot with different apertures then took the best for the water and sky to combine in CS3.
Unedited shot of a biker reflected in a puddle in Amsterdam. Taken with my Sony HX200V. No editing, no magic tricks, no Photoshop :)

yesterday I made a trip to ribatejo to take some pictures whith my
dad. This one was taken near Valada do Ribatejo.
This was a sunny, spring day in Somerset, in central New Jersey. The reflections in the lake and building seemed to add to the beauty of the blooming tree.
Kennick reservoir reflections from tonight's sunset with Gary Benwell. The Rhododendrons not at their best yet but give a few weeks will be flourishing at their peak. When we first arrived it was looking pretty dull with a thick cloud bank blocking the light. The cloud was moving very slow and wasn't looking like anything would happen but patience is a virtue. So as we waited the sky turned a nice pink and the wind dropped which flattened out the water to produce some really nice reflection's mirroring the nice sky.

As abstract as this looks, it is actually a simple photograph of a condo reflected on water at Newport Beach near Balboa island. This is my favorite of the many I took that you can see here: angela-stanton.artistwebsites.com/ because this one so reminds me of Van Gogh with his moving elements and vivid yellows.
I found her on a night of fire and noise
Wild bells rang in a wild sky
I knew from that moment on
I'd love her till the day that I died
And I kissed away a thousand tears
My lady of the Various Sorrows
Some begged, some borrowed, some stolen
Some kept safe for tomorrow
On an endless night, silver star spangled
The bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle
She was given to me to put things right
And I stacked all my accomplishments beside her
Still I seemed so obselete and small
I found God and all His devils insider her
In my bed she cast the blizzard out
A mock sun blazed upon her head
So completely filled with light she was
Her shadow fanged and hairy and mad
Our love-lines grew hopelessly tangled
And the bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle
She had a heartful of love and devotion
She had a mindful of tyranny and terror
Well, I try, I do, I really try
But I just err, baby, I do, I error
So come and find me, my darling one
I'm down to the grounds, the very dregs
Ah, here she comes, blocking the sun
Blood running down the inside of her legs
The moon in the sky is battered and mangled
And the bells from the chapel go jingle-jangle
All things move toward their end
I knew before I met her that I would lose her
I swear I made every effort to be good to her
I swear I made every effort not to abuse her
Crazy bracelets on her wrists and her ankles
And the bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle
