For "smile on saturday" and
"reflection on black"!
This is my first attempt to shoot reflection on a black background. I spent a lot of time on this task, but mostly cleaning up black smooth and shiny surfaces and mirrors. Even the dust dropped from the feather, so at the end I had to remove those tiny dust particles in Lightroom.
Have a great day and thank you for visiting,

1974 Jaguar E-type Series 3 V12 OTS. The Last E-type Built HDU 555N. This particular car is the very last E-type to be built, and was retained by Jaguar from the day it was made. It was built on 12 June 1974 but not registered until 5 February 1975. Ownership was transferred from Jaguar Cars Ltd to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust in September 1983. Photographed at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon.
The beautiful rustic reds of the leaves and their shimmering reflection on the lake , a wonderful autumnal scene .
Taken in Tredegar Park, Newport.a National Trust Property.
Église Saint-Séverin. One of the less visited. but to me one of the most beautiful churches in Paris, wish I had more time to spend few hrs. as the sun changes reflects though such mesmerizing stained glass art. Spent more time just in awe at this medieval house of our lord.
Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, Bristol, Maine. While walking out along the rock formations and cliffs of Pemaquid, we ran across this tidal pool and almost a mirror image of the light and bell tower and the bell house. I think this lighthouse really captures the essence of the Maine coast.
Reflections in a passageway of the magnificent Fourways Mall in Greater Johannesburg, taken shortly before the first COVID-19 lock-down. Sadly, it was the last architectural shoot that I was able to go on with the late Harry Schmitz before COVID-19 took his life. Alas, vaccines were not yet available at the time of his contracting this killer disease.
