I seem to have a thing for reflections these days. Again I was lucky, didn't know this place existed. And who knows, maybe it ceased to exist just after I left.

A near perfect august night with no wind to produce some great reflections on canning docks, Liverpool
Since the number 808 is the same backwards, forwards and upside down, the theme for Down Under Challenge No. 808 is reflections. The number 808 is supposed to appear in the image, so I've included it here, though, because I didn't want to mess up the image, you'll have to look for it...
This is a composite of two images: I took the stilt and its reflection from another image and placed it over/under the reflected image of Mt Tamalpais. Both shots were taken in the Corte Madera Marsh.
While in Alabama I found this place where I could work on my reflection shots.. any ideas of what I could do to get it better?
From Wikipedia: The Black River is located in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan, flowing mostly in Gogebic County into Lake Superior. Its source is a boreal wetland on the border with Iron County, Wisconsin. The northern section of the river, 14 miles within the boundaries of the Ottawa National Forest, was designated a National Wild and Scenic River in 1992. This Wild and Scenic River section is known for the many waterfalls produced as the river tumbles down from near Copper Peak to Lake Superior. The river drops more than 200 feet over five separate named cataracts beginning two miles from its mouth. Some of these waterfalls are easily accessible from the parallel Black River Road (Gogebic County Route 513) north of Bessemer, Michigan. This was taken just above Rainbow Falls, the last of the five waterfalls.
