An octagonal structure with an amazing shell of mirror glass stands across from the Belfry on the Market Square.
I really like the way the shadows on the cement blocks and reflections in the glass windows interplay. The clouds in the windows look as if they're part of the sky.
Reflections at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin at night. It was a lovely clear and calm night so excellent conditions for reflections.

It is not that I am not a morning person. I never need coffee to get myself going, and I have trouble sleeping beyond 9 in the morning. Nonetheless, I rarely seem to make it out for sunrise, and that is something I intend to change about my photography over this next year. Call it a photographic resolution.
Anyway, this is a sunrise I did make it up for, made all the more remarkable because we had to drive over an hour just to get here in time for sunrise as we were not staying in the park and this is taken at Reflection Lake which is almost all the way to Paradise (yes I like how that sentence reads too ;-) ). Really not much else to say about this other than I forgot my tripod in Portland so I had to shoot the entire weekend hand held or using whatever logs and rocks I could find as makeshift tripods. I think in this case it was a downed tree at a 1/30th of a second.

Baggersee am Rhein bei Breisach heute nachmittag. Habe aus drei RAW-files ein HDR erstellt. Ein bißchen Tonemapping und leichte Korrekturen im PS, das war's dann.
Decided to make the most of the nice weather yesterday, so went to Tatton Park.
Was going to do a Long Exposure but the water was so still i didn't need to.

As I post this, the National Mall is closed for the week (at least) in response to threats of violence from some of Trump's supporters.

Turning my camera away from the previous photo of Snowdon, this time looking across the lake, the trees were reflecting on the surface. I have seen photos like this before, but have never been lucky enough to take one myself, until this opportunity occurred.

The Art Gallery of Alberta has very interesting curves on the outside of the building, meant to represent the Northern Lights which can often be seen here in Alberta. The metal ribbon created a near perfect reflection in the window of the building.

Reflections on the River Liffey an a unseasonaby beautiful end of November day.
A short time before I took this shot a large flock of seagulls landed in the River and messed up the reflections. I had to wait for the ripples to go before taking this shot
