Happy Window Wednesday! These windows are in a large, fairly new abandoned house close to my new home. It sits up on an elevated lot with some views. Don't know anything about it except that vandals have been at work as you can see from this image.

Bare tree branches reflected in a glass block window in Dartmouth. I love the electric play of light and reflections happening in each glass block, and the layered presence of the highlights on the glass blocks that intermingle with the off-set tree branch reflections in the top half of the image. Reflections are so visually engaging.

It had just started raining when I took this you can see the rain drops on the water.

I was taken with the bold colours and the reflection - but it is a sad statement of life that we pollute our waterways with rubbish. It wasn't until i looked on the computer that I also saw the bottle floating there.

Took a mental health day off work today, was happy to come across this Kingfisher. I had always thought they migrate south of here for winter, but some more expert birders I met today told me if they have access to open water, they will stay in our area through the winter. Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge
