From a small stream in my neighborhood. I think I found another water nymph, looks a bit scared though.

I never did find out what this building was, but the more I look at it, the more reflections I find. Washington, DC.

I love a good reflection and this one just made me smile. Our November skies have been pretty amazing this year and this particular moment really stood out to me. With no wind, it was almost perfect.

The majestic Aoraki (Mount Cook) reflected in calm waters of Hooker Lake at Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand.
It was an overcast morning when we arrived here. The Mount Cook was obscured behind a thick layer of cloud. Undaunted, we proceed to setup a time lapse and halfway through, the cloud dissipated, revealing the tallest mountain in NZ in its glory, basking in the morning's golden light.
What an awesome sight!

Reflection Canyon is a side canyon of Lake Powell that was first brought to the public's attention when National Geographic photographer, Michael Melford, took an amazing photo of this canyon and wrote the article, Glen Canyon Revealed. Since then, Reflection Canyon has slowly become popular over the years as a "must see" location for photographers, backpackers, and hikers looking to explore this secluded area.
