Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center (no longer operating)

Streekhof shopping center in Stede Broec. The hall is built over the main road. In the beginning, the passage was also open 24 hours a day. I did cycle through it when I came from friends, 2am. Sometimes the fear suddenly overcame me that the doors would no longer open and that I was trapped there. Because it served as a shelter during the night hours for people without a roof over their heads, it is now closed off when the shops close. The center has also been further expanded in several phases.

 

Winkelcentrum Streekhof in Stede Broec. De hal is gebouwd over de doorgaande weg heen. In het begin, was de doorgang ook 24 uur per dag geopend. Ik fietste er wel doorheen wanneer ik van vrienden kwam, 2 uur 's nachts. Soms overviel me dan ineens de angst dat de deuren niet meer open zouden gaan en ik daar opgesloten zat. Omdat het in de nachtelijke uren als schuilplaats ging dienen voor mensen zonder een dak boven hun hoofd wordt het tegenwoordig afgesloten wanneer de winkels sluiten. Het centrum is ook in meerdere fases verder uitgebreid.

This robin was about to enjoy a puddle in our driveway, but hadn't disrupted the perfect reflection yet.

I was going through my image files and came across some more of the new bridge at Kew gardes in London, i took this in the late afternoon sunlight, I absolutely love those curves and lines and with the reflections of that and the colours.

  

Taken on the Kashmir Great Lakes trek.

This is just done with my phone I didn’t have my camera with me but I still love the feel to this picture

Rome's Center is filled with magnificent colors -- buildings are in creams, yellows, golds, oranges, reds, and grays.

Reddish Egret on the run after its next fish.

Had to take two image of this scene, one of the sky and the other of the water because of that vastness of this vista!

Whilst out shooting a sunken crane in Kent this took my eye the way the light was on it, not sure what it actually is but probably an old piece of industry!

The East Mitten butte is one of the most famous landmarks in Monument Valley, as well as being one of the closest to the main visitor centre.

 

The pond of water was a fortunate remnant from overnight storms.

A mixture of hardwood and softwood trees cover the bank of a lake and appear to be reaching over to view their gorgeous autumn colors in the mirror still waters.
