The redddish-colored water is "runoff" from tailings piles at the Ray Open Pit mines, Arizona. At this particular location copper ore is being extracted. Read about the history of the open pit mining that began in this area here:

Did some refining of the texture in gimp and blender. I managed to set up pressure sensitivity for my tablet to work. She is roughly 3900 polys , 3 uv maps and textures (body,hair and eyes). I made a bumpmap in gimp but its a bit pixelated. Transparency map for the hair is a major pain in the neck, so I'll leave it for the end- after the animation is done. This model took roughly 3 or 4 days (i'd say about 10 hours of work divided into three days) , which is not too bad. I managed to get a better topology than my previous human models. No tris , clean loops around shoulders, hands are efficient and so on.

Completed in 1917, the brick and tile smokestack reaches a height of 365 feet. Its concrete foundation extends 30 feet into the ground. The structure was built to replace two shorter smokestacks at the Ohio-Colorado Smelting and Refining Company's smelter facility located one mile west of Salida. Although the facility closed in 1920, the smokestack remains as a highly visible monument to the mining industry and its workers.

This is a westbound Norfolk Southern Railway freight train in the late morning of 10 May 2016 at Horseshoe Curve, west of Altoona, Pennsylvania, USA. It was headed by two NS engines - # 9693, a General Electric CW40-9, and # 7211, a General Motors Electro-Motive Division SD80MAC.
This tank car is Deep Rock Refining Company # 259091, marked DPRX. It was built in the 2010s and is used to transport petroleum (crude oil).
