*A reefer ship is a refrigerated cargo ship; a type of ship typically used to transport perishable commodities which require temperature-controlled transportation, such as fruit, meat, fish, vegetables, dairy products and other foods.
The printer didnt do the Reez colors justice at all. This one was quite a bit tougher to paint thin lines on.
Sorry for the horrible joke.
With the Goose Island Branch now officially out of service, there is nothing for the Chicago Terminal Railroad's ILSX 900 to do except switch cars to Sipi Metals every now and then, or to set out and retrieve stored cars (such as this ex-Amtrak ExpressTrak reefer) in the few tracks crammed next to UP's Harvard Sub, where Metra traffic is thick. Cars from Sipi and the storage cars are both interchanged to UP just a couple blocks to the south at North Avenue Yard- itself home to a fast-dwindling number of freight shipments, mostly involving business from the Chicago Tribune, Blommer Chocolate, and the two or so industries served along the Cragin Line.
