Continuing our tourist trip to Cairns on our last full day in Australia we visited the Great Barrier Reef. This shot was taken from a glass bottomed boat taking a tour over the coral. Obviously this was taken through glass so the quality isn't that great but hopefully you still get an impression of the coral and the seabed.

Well I started the Mexico photos with a shot of coral from Puerto Morelos National park, so I thought its appropriate to finish up my Mexico set with this photo. Also from Puerto Morelos. I hope you enjoyed the photos from Mexico as this is the last of them. Not long until spring and then I will be outside getting new photos again. Until then I'll probably post some oldies to keep my stream going.
This underwater photo of a coral reef was taken while snorkeling at Iriomote Island, Okinawa, Japan.
Gold Reef City is a large amusement park in Johannesburg, South Africa. Located on an old gold mine, the park is themed around the gold rush on the Witwatersrand. Park staff wear period costumes of the 1880s, and the buildings on the park are designed to mimic the same period. There is a museum dedicated to gold mining on the grounds where it is possible to see a gold-containing ore vein and see how real gold is poured into barrels.
This Reef will be located at our next Heartlake-City Exhibition.
To the left, there will be the Arielle Castle, in the middle a sunken ship including a giant octupus and to the right my Scuba-Station.
