the shank is reduced to allow the rolled thread ro rise to the same diameter as the rest of the shaft, but in this instance, the thread has not been rolled all the way up to the shoulder.
Trying something new:
We used our electric juicer to juice bunches of ripe tomatoes. I'm cooking down the juice. It's been seasoned a bit and will eventually be our winter pasta sauce.
