There never used to be blue recycling cans in the park. It's an addition that happened over the last month. This is a good initiative taken on by the city of Mississauga to keep the park clean and a positive public space to visit.
A Starbucks mug costs about $20, you not only save 10¢ for each coffee you drink from Starbucks but also the world with garbage... so for about 200 refills, the mug will be paid for.. plus the guilt free is more then worth it, so stop being lazy and give it a try :) your coffee will stay warmer longer.

In 1981, nearly forty years after 19-year-old Southern Railway trainee Ian Allan started catering for young rail enthusiasts, British Rail started up a club called the Great Rail Club, which soon became Rail Riders en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rail_Riders.
If you were of school age, membership entitled you to discounted rail travel, not to mention a quarterly magazine called Rail Riders Express and free entry to the to the Rail Riders World model railway exhibit at York Station.
The first I heard of this club was on Get Set For Summer (presented by Mark Curry) on BBC1 because one of the prizes was free membership to the club. I don't know whether a friend of mine at the time Marc Rhodes was a member but another friend (who went to the same school, Earle Road County Primary) called Paul Irvine definitely fucking was.
I know this because he gave me a copy of Rail Riders Express number 10 in 1984, the very year it came out. I had thought you couldn't get these magazines on eBay but I was wrong because a few days ago...I spotted some for sale! but I digress.
Nearly two months ago, at the end of August, I spotted two books of Rail Riders vouchers for sale on eBay and they were too good to pass up.
Worth £5 (which was a lot back then) but only £1.25, these vouchers would entitle the holder to discounted rail travel so it's safe to say these would have been guarded with life by any child who happened to be a member and certainly not taken into school.
Not only were you entitled to discounted rail travel but you could also apply for an award badge in three classes; Star (on completion of 8 journeys), Track Star (10 journeys) and finally Track Super Star (25 journeys). However, after 10 years, Rail Riders hit the buffers.
Three years ago, however, the name was revived for a new club but unconnected with the original and this new club would be aimed at adults.
