This was drawn for my son's first birthday...hopefully he'll keep this the rest of his life.

Mattel's DC Universe figures (Wave 1).

I redrew this based off of the spawn comic cover that is by far my favorite image of this character. I have always loved the style of drawing used for Spawn. If you compare the original side-by-side with my drawing and look at every pen stroke you can see all the detail that went into creating this beautiful image in respect to the original. I started wtih ink, and ended with ink - no pencil - 100 lb drawing paper.
