Having befriended the RAAF Public Affairs team on a tanker ride earlier in the trip, we were able to get back on to Nellis AFB the day after the two Red Flag 07-2 media days, specifically with the aim of getting rather closer to the Aussie Pigs as they prepared to launch.
The 1-11 was such a good looking jet.... With the lids up and the black nose, it always reminded me of a greyhound!
