After a storm front moved through Gulf Shores, the red flags were still displayed but that did not stop this young man from breaking out the skim board and getting a bit of practice in. I sat on the balcony and watched him for 15-20 minutes and he never slowed down...sometimes you just have to make the best of a not-so-ideal situation!!

An F-15E Strike Eagle takes off Feb. 4, 2015, from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., to participate in a Red Flag 15-1 training sortie over the Nevada Test and Training Range. Various units from around the Air Force, joint branches and coalition partners converge on Nellis AFB three to four times a year to take part in the exercise, which simulates large-scale live, virtual and constructive warfare.
