Lovely red brick home with delightful red brick dormers. This house looks down on the other side at Lake Washington and the Cascades. Please, someone, buy it for me!!

This impressive redbrick church was originally part of the convent on this site. After the land was given to the Wrangel family, it became part of their estate and used as their parish church.

Loved the red shine on the flower against the redbrick mattness of the wall

 

Name - Pronounced an-TH00-ree-um. Its common name is flamingo flower or

painter's palette.

I always thought these were a kind of lily, now am better informed

An old JP Morgan Chase. Can't seem to figure out the history or significance, but it sure looks historical, no?

The early Georgian red brick refacing of the medieval south range. Note the windows are essentially flush with the brickwork, an indication that they pre-date regulations brought in to combat fire later in the 18th cent.
