Red Geranium

This impressive redbrick church was originally part of the convent on this site. After the land was given to the Wrangel family, it became part of their estate and used as their parish church.

Not sure what these were, workshops of some sort possibly. They're in the grounds of The Argory, Co. Armagh. Not sure the satellite dish is a period feature.

An old JP Morgan Chase. Can't seem to figure out the history or significance, but it sure looks historical, no?

The early Georgian red brick refacing of the medieval south range. Note the windows are essentially flush with the brickwork, an indication that they pre-date regulations brought in to combat fire later in the 18th cent.

Lovely red brick home with delightful red brick dormers. This house looks down on the other side at Lake Washington and the Cascades. Please, someone, buy it for me!!

Missed opportunity. As I was taking this a woman came out who lived in the flats and said "what are you taking photos of that for! They're ugly things." Her hair was the same colour as the brick and she was about 85.

The old red bricks from the demolished greenhouses are being ground down for hard core.

These red brick pavements are all over the UK and I love the pattern, colour and texture of them.

Every time I look out, I see this building and this fire escape. I'm in love with it. I want to live here, but the building is empty apart from a Spar and a cafe/restaurant on the lower floors.
