The midriff is slightly on the large side. I can see a few wrinkles on the back but I hope these won't be noticable once pressed.

테크업계에서는 종종 베타로 제품을 먼저 출시하는 경우가 있다. 즉 아직 완성되지는 않았지만 시장에 미완성으로 (때로는 한정적으로) 출시하는 것이다. 구글에서 자주 제품을 소개하는 방식이며 지메일, 크롬 등등도 모두 베타로 먼저 출시했다. 정식 출시에 앞서 검증을 먼저 받으며 개선해나간다는 장점이 있다. 엔터테인멘트 업계에서도 동일한 모습을 볼 수 있다. 그 대표적인 예가 연습생들을 정식 데뷰 전에 먼저 노출시키는 것이다. SM에는 SM 루키즈라는 데뷔전 연습생들 브랜드가 있다. 연습생들이 SM 루키즈라는 이름으로 콘서트 등에서 노래할 기회도 주어지고 SNS나 언론에 노출도 된다. 그래서 대중 앞에 서는 연습도 되고 데뷰전에 어느 정도 이름도 알려지게 된다. 그 성격과 목적이 베타로 출시하는 IT 제품과 똑같다.

Definite improvements in the fit of the arm - much more comfortable now! You can't really see the neckline but it's a comfortable depth for me now. I do think lengthening the torso (side seam) has is an improvement but needs another inch, I think - which I've already added to the pattern piece (and adjusted the bottom curve accordingly)
I stitched up the bust pleats this time, and I think it's still not quite right. I moved the central pleats a little closer to the center, so ostensibly they should allow the fabric to 'bloom' right where it needs the extra space, and also give a little more definition in the center instead of being stretched taut across. I think it does both of those - but it's pulling against the stitching (even popped a couple of the stitches towards the top) so I think it needs either a shorter basting together there, or none at all. But placement and width are much better now.
All that said & done, I think the additional length on the side (and corresponding under bust curve adjustment) is all I need to add to the pattern piece, so unless there are suggestions that would significantly affect it, I think I can cut out the "shades of grey" fabric now!
this mite is tiny but so brightly coloured that it's clearly visible in the dark reaches of the forest leaf litter...
the larvae are parasitic on insects and the adults predate insects but these creatures are little studied...
Off for coffee at a friends place shortly so threw this together - last minute so not exactly perfect but love chocolate with my coffee!
