I forgot to note this guy's name but he's one of the best looking birds they have there and he was also in a really cooperative mood.
Red-tailed Hawk on a fencepost in the Greenbelt near Shirley's Bay Conservation Area. He was feasting on a vole or baby rabbit when he noticed me creeping up on him. Mar 29, 2012.

This hawk did not appear to be afraid of people. He let me walk pretty close to him without flying away.
The same Hawk apparently was not satisfied with a small snake for the day. It caught a rat an hour later. It however had a hard time to finish it off.
