Six of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Hawks flying in close formation as part of their routine at the Yeovilton Air Day.
Although not as finely polished as the RAF Red Arrows, who fly similar aircraft, the Saudis are still very impressive in the air.
This is captured digitally off an old photographic print taken in 1984 while I was travelling in Jiuzhou, Japan. The exact location cannot be ascertained after 32 years. The fireworks were fired from the surface of a river and the sprouts did not go too high.

The fireworks have begun and the crowds have gathered. Let the show begin. :) Sometimes, when the smoke begins and the red light marks the spot it is not always a good encounter and could be the sign of a more serious type of gathering....on this night however, the fireworks and crowd were all about fun. Thankfully.

This has to be one of my favourite photos of the year. Taken during the King of Europe Round 2 in Karpacz, Poland.

2 women busy in their little chit chats whispering talk midst of the the red smoke from the crackers in a Diwali night of 2013.
Last shot from the a trip out light painting with the wife (who said Chartered Accountants are boring!) I couldn't resist squeezing one of these into a quick 30 second exposure! (neither could she, she'd enjoyed being whipped by the wire lmao).
The rest of the scene is lit purely by a Full Moon and a mountain side full of snow (which helped and hindered the ambient light)

While at Silverstone for this years F1 Grand Prix Race, the RAF Red Arrows put on a display for the crowed. This shot was taken on their final fly by over the pit straight just before the start of the race.

Tens of thousands of people took part in the annual demonstration in Warsaw on November 11, 2022 to mark Poland's Independence Day. The event was organized by far-right groups but also attracted conservative citizens.

One of my favourite manoeuvres performed by the Red Arrows, the "Mirror Pass" such precision and skill in all of their flying but for me this one really stands out, I guess I just love the symmetry of it all.

Midway through their display over the waters off the coast of Southport, two of the Red Arrows aircraft began to encircle the other pilots in the team. While the seven in the centre send out trails of white smoke in their wake, the two aerobatic planes send trails of red and blue smoke that spiral around the central seven.
