Captain America contre Hydra

Same body, and accessories, different heads and paintjobs. Vogel's paintjob is more detailed, but the Skull's color scheme is more sinister, both look completely awesome. I like the Skull's riding crop better the gold tip makes it look far more impressive. His pistol is made in a darker colored plastic.

Since they re-used Vogel's body, the Red Skull is probaly one of the least articulated Marvel Universe toys, but that's OK, he looks fantastic. I'm sure at some point they'll release a version with more standard Marvel Universe style- articluation in that green suit he often wears but I doubt it will top the visual coolness of this version.

I wrote to Mr. Weaving while he was performing in 'Uncle Vanya' at the Kennedy Center in August 2011. I expressed how much I had enjoyed his performances ever since the first time I saw him on a VHS Tape I rented of 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert". The production left town, but two days afetrwards I received from Mr. Weaving this signed picture. I went to the play (had a front row seat) and can say that live his performance is electrifying. What a very nice man to remember his fans.
