Watched this "Guy" for about 30 minutes, hunting what I thought was shrews or voles. Took many images, but was scared off when he practically run right into me.....
This beautiful fox is often seen in the downtown area of Carcross, Yukon. This photo was taken on a crisp early spring morning in March 2012.
Patch just the far side of the Red Valerian patch in the front garden, sitting waiting to be fed. This is not his normal waiting spot but with the mating season in full flight none of the boys are quite themselves....
I used to carry a camera with me when I golfed but on this day, I left it in the car. This guy and another red fox were roaming around on the 17th fairway as my group walked toward their second shots. Once again, I was lucky enough to be able to get my camera after finishing the round and found a great opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime shot (at least in the city).
