I finally got around to editing some more of the shots that I was able to get of this fox that I came across near Viscount Saskatchewan...
He allowed me to get quite close to the den (just out of the picture to the left of the fox)... he posed quite nicely for a few minutes before disappearing into the den... in this particular shot he is expressing his boredom with me as he take a big yawn before lying down again...

The two 'Reds' turning finals to land.........well the small versions!
Costing some £12,000 pounds ($16,000 USD) each and powered by tiny jet engines these six foot long models are controlled by two award winning R/C flyers performing formation aerobatics and opposition passes - just like the real thing!
With the real Red Arrows unable to perform due to severe weather at their forward operating base, their commentator 'Red 10' stepped in and provided a running commentary on these two beauties instead.

The Red-winged Blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus) is a passerine bird of the family Icteridae found in most of North and much of Central America. It breeds from Alaska and Newfoundland south to Florida, the Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, and Guatemala, with isolated populations in western El Salvador, northwestern Honduras, and northwestern Costa Rica. It may winter as far north as Pennsylvania and British Columbia, but northern populations are generally migratory, moving south to Mexico and the southern United States. Claims have been made that it is the most abundant and best studied bird in North America. The Red-winged Blackbird is sexually dimorphic; the male is all black with a red shoulder and yellow wing bar, while the female is a nondescript dark brown. Seeds and insects make up the bulk of the Red-winged Blackbird's diet.

This girl sculpture seems a little shy to me. She won't even look into my eyes. She might be either sad, lonely or depressed. Or maybe this is just the graphical definition of mind blown. Sometimes it’s hard to handle some painful situation and we just lose our heads and go crazy and unstable.
