This is mainly the Starfire from Jokerland except the hair which is from Poison Ivy from the lego batman movie. I changed the hair because I didn't find it accurate enough to her appearance in Red Hood and the Outlaws. Even though the Poison Ivy hair has additional printing (and molding) it looks so good it doesn't bother me.

This has been a good year for the Red Spotted Purples in my area. This series are all from a single outing following a dry streambed at Broughtons Wildlife Education Area on 24 Aug 2018. Dry or damp stream beds seem to be a favorite habitat for many late summer butterflies and the Red Spotted Purples definitely enjoy this habitat. The photos are both natural light and flash fill. You may note that on a butterfly like these with wings that tend to polarize light depending on your viewing angle that the flash produces different colors than the natural light view and i have included both.

I imagine myself living under this leaf, oblivious to the color spectrum, thinking the world is rendered in a monochromatic scale of reds, while outside my perspective, the brilliant blue sky tries to spill over the curled edge of my leaf.

The red kite is a medium-large bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards, and harriers. The species currently breeds in the Western Palearctic region of Europe and northwest Africa, though it formerly also occurred in northern Iran.

Red Riding Hood had a little rest before she went to see Grandma.

The wolfe was friendly and they had a chat. She was not afraid althouh he waited for her in the house: Blythe's heads are to big to swallow - even for wolfes in Fairy tales!
