After having completed their switching work in the small Redding Yard, the Day Redding Local heads north over the Sacramento River on the massive nearly 3/4 mile long Redding Trestle.
Just over a mile down river, Redding's iconic Sundial Bridge can be seen. The Sundial Bridge is quite unique, and has a quite a propensity to show up on nearly anything Redding related. Hence I felt I needed to find a way to work it into a train photo before I left the area.
I'm not a big fan of photographing mushrooms and I have no idea what this one is called. It was only an inch or so tall and I would have missed it altogether if it wasn't for the fiery red color.

Assignment 2. The color Red. As suggested in the official Assignments Sugggestion Thread by FadderUri, we've seen blue and green, but never red! Red is a very powerful color, a little bit may go a looong way. Passionate and hot, this color can speak volumes. Tag with cwd252.
Red Tape, awesome trail in Kapiti close to Paraparamu. A few narrow bits near the start with a decent drop to the side.
Gets flowy and fast after a bit of this.
actually it's not a red diamond, it's red cabbage, but well, Christmas is quite soon, we can dream a bit after all...;-)

I don't know what this is, but it was growing in the main car park at Tintern Abbey in the Wye valley, and the leaves looked stunning as the evening sun shone through them.
Tulips are such beautiful flowers and they hide a lot of their beauty inside. This was taken by tucking the lens of my little compact inside the top of the tulip.

Some people just look good all the time don't they! Even when they are a'bloody'sleep! I kick and talk, not so pretty here, hahahaha.
Anyway, this is a candid shot from the same back yard festival. Rosie, as you guys have seen in several of my other shots, (the two from Dartmoor), is rather photogenic. I love her hair! x
