Day 2 - Reykjavik to Snaefellsnes peninsula day trip.
Snaefellsnes peninsula
The 90-kilometer long Snaefellsnes Peninsula sits just to the northwest of Reykjavik. Often called “Iceland in miniature,” the peninsula is home to many of the beautiful landscapes found elsewhere in the country. If you don’t have time to drive around the entire island, a visit to the Snaefellsnes Peninsula will give you an idea of what you would have seen if you had – moss-covered lava rocks, craggy seaside cliffs, strange rock formations made bay the sea, a giant glacier, majestic fjords, windswept beaches, tiny fishing villages and even some rolling farmlands dotted with sheet and horses to boot.
For more information about Snaefellsnes, click on the below links.

Red Square
is a city square in Moscow, Russia.
The square separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod.
As major streets of Moscow radiate from here in all directions, being promoted to major highways outside the city,
Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia.

We spend a week diving in the Red sea, and had a chance to swim with this beautiful creatures. One of my favorite moments!
Unfortunately it is a little on the soft side. In hind side would have been better to put on my 50 mm lens.
Anyway, I still like this shot.
I posted the two versions, because I just couldn't decide between black and white or color.
Your decision now.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

It's coming to the end of 'Poppy Season' so I needed to get my annual image in the bag. This one is shot against a wheat field backdrop and I've applied a texture because I like the mood it projects.
Another Red-capped Plover on the sand flats. Amazing tiny little birds that have to put up with the ravages of living, feeding and nesting on the sand flats of the beach.

We visited the Tulsa Zoo to photograph the exotic animals, this is the best image I came away with. (Except the ones of the grandkids)
Just showing my support for the Burmese monks & the people of Burma, because I consider democracy to be very important.
