Red poppy dancing with the wind in green field.

This day, the wind was quite strong, not a perfect time to take a close-up shot :) So, I used a very high shutter speed: 1/8000 ... despite of this, because of wide open aperture (f/1.7), I had to dance with the poppy to keep it in focus and to catch this crazy choreography ;)

I saw this red squirrel out in the forest today. It was full of energy and running all over the place making most of my shots blurry. He finally sat long enough for me to get this shot.

That makes a great color combination for flowers, I don't care what anybody says.

This is what I did yesterday when the heat index was really high, cause I hate to sit around in the house when it's light outside.

Tiny Red Curly Flowers.

I like the late colors of the fall and early winter with red berries many places.

I only use the Sony Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8 a few times, most when I need autofocus for people, it is very annoying that there are no button for AF/MF focus, I also miss aperture ring ! I use my fully manual Leica 60mm 2.8 Macro-Elmarit R nearly all the time ! Update, now I use Voigtländer Macro APO-Lanthar 65mm 2.0

Update 10. November 2024, now I rarely use the excellet Sony Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8 T* ZA Lens, I have so many good Lenses to choose from, but I will keep this Lens, because it is so light weight and compact, still a very good performer even compared to the lateste new Lenses ! I have seen this Lens used for as low as 167 Euros ! In good condition from 335 Euros, so for anyone looking for an excellent Lens, I can highly recommend the Sony Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8 T* ZA, early verion was named Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar 55mm 1.8 T* ZA.
