ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – USACE South Pacific Division Commander Col. (P) Kimberly Colloton recognized Monique Chisholm, Aug. 28, 2018. Chisholm is a procurement analyst in the District’s Business Oversight Branch, Contracting Division. Her award nomination reads in part: “Monique was the point of contact for three actions that had to receive PARC approval … Monique is a very dedicated employee and is always more than willing to do any task assigned and with great care and diligence. Due to her great writing skill and professionalism all three of these actions were approved by the PARC and the projects were able to proceed.”

On July 20-21, 2012, alumni of the Auburn Knights Orchestra gathered at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel & Conference Center at Grand National for the 82nd anniversary of the swing band based in Auburn, Alabama.

Commemorative Plaque: Roughly--in recognition of their years of service. J. Murria is the name (proprietor?) of the lovely shop just next to this plaque. Unfortunately it was closed and dusty. I hope it reopens because it is quite lovely even though I lacked the time and will to photograph it. I believe the store was a delicatessen, cheese store.
