Recently visited Oldmoor Wood, Nottinghamshire. Oldmoor Wood is a woodland in Nottinghamshire, near the village of Strelley. It covers a total area of 15.11 hectares. It is owned and managed by The Woodland Trust.
I went primarily for the beautiful Bluebells. There is a mix of Native and Spanish Bluebells.
Native Bluebells are protected in the UK under the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981.
How to tell the difference.
English Bluebells: Flowers on one side of the stem.
Spanish Bluebells: Flowers all around the stem.

No Group Awards/Banners, thanks
One of the final images from a stunning wedding recently in Clumber Park, Notts, UK. Made this image using white long burn smoke grenades from a paint ball supplier. Two bombs burning here being waved low to the ground by my assistant.
Lighting was a simple two light setup with SB910, 1st just right of cam and second left of cam to create contrasts across the smoke, manual mode 1/400 second exposure, ISO 200, f2.8 24-70 @29mm. SL triggered with the ever faithful PW Mini and Flex.
QG 502 is leaving CPKC's St-Luc Yard in Montreal a couple of weeks back with QGRY 4015, QGRY 4019 & QGRY 2009 for power. QGRY 4019 was recently repainted at the NECR shops in St. Albans.
I was trying the new camera recently and ended up with quite a few candid portraits. I am not doing them very often but decided to share this bunch if i have them already.
wish you great weekend!
This unit was used to collect commercial recycling by Waste Management of Wheeling for a number of years before being replaced more recently by a Peterbilt/McNeilus rear loader powered by Compressed Natural Gas.

This view is from the corner of Chapel Hill and Old Street, Clevedon, photographed on Thursday 26th August 2021.
A travel agency has recently vacated these premises but don't worry, the business has simply relocated to the opposite side of the road, as can be seen in the reflection.
