Chelsea Lesniewski (Fulton, Ill./Fulton) and Chloe Sullivan (Port Byron, Ill./Riverdale) each drove in three runs on the day, but the Carl Sandburg College softball team was swept by John Wood in a doubleheader Monday afternoon at the William “Bill” Hungate Baseball/Softball Complex. A Q&A session and discussion with the audience followed along with commentary from the panelists.
Panelists included Ruth Mandel, director of Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute of Politics and founder of Eagleton’s Center for American Women and Politics; Sam Wang, professor of molecular biology and neuroscience at Princeton University and member of the Princeton Election Consortium; and Charles Stile, veteran political columnist at The Record of Bergen County.
