so, going to mount holyoke for undergrad people would often say things in the vein like 'this is much harder than other schools' or 'you are more prepared for grad school than other people.' and your own experience is so central it's hard to see outside of it.
until i was crusing the syracuse bookstore just checking out the books and i find this book listed for a graduate level sociology class. yeah, that's totally the book we used in my required 200 quantitative methods class at mhc. huh.
