As I was working in my backyard garden yesterday, I came to a realization... The veggies that I grow in my veggie bed have been declining. I tried putting more drip irrigation and adding coco coir in addition to compost and all my normal soil amendments, but it seems like each season, the soil stars to dry out fast and seems like the nutrients in the soil disappears... I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I think the roots of our large fruit trees are robbing the nutrients and moisture from my nearby veggie beds. And it makes sense because I find big roots when I dig up the soil in the beds... Now I don't know what to do. Anyone have a solution?... I have a friend who has this issue and she raised her beds, using plywood as the floor with an air gap between the bed and ground. I don't know if I want to do that. Maybe I need to make the beds even taller and put good soil on top. But how long will that last... Any suggestions? Realization of this military base at Frederiksoord is currently being developed in close collaboration with Foundation KIK (Kunst in Kolderveen), TAAK, The Society of Humanitarianism, Gemeente Westerveld, Province Drenthe and the Ministry of Defence. We encourage corporate representatives to join this unconventional collaboration. With this project we aim to provide the infrastructure for a horizontal civil investigation after the current condition of our welfare state.

I'm becoming extra girly as the months / years go by. I know i'm somewhat becoming a late bloomer but who cares :p Haha. I've never been too fond of accessories but lately I can't leave the house without either a ring or a necklace or whatever.
