Friday was Kim, Emily, Marc, and Marks show opener at the Associated Artist in Butler. Before heading back to Gusto I saw 3 women at a table making beaded necklaces. I asked if I could join, and was welcomed with open arms (litterally) by Madelynn and Ross. They showed me the best way to make a bead necklace, and reminded me what I should be doing with my life. I realized friday night that I am wasting my time working in a restaurant. I should be learning from and experincing life as my two new "freinds" see it.
Akram path is an exceptional path, in which Self Realization is achieved through grace of the Gnani. This is different from the step by step path where they have to remove anger, pride, deceit, greed and then slowly they achieve Self Realization.

Many thousands of visitors come each year to enjoy the scenic beauty and serenity of this spiritual sanctuary. The ten-acre site, with its gardens and natural spring-fed lake, is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including swans, ducks, koi, and lotus flowers. The grounds include a Court of Religions honoring the five principal religions of the world; the Mahatma Gandhi World Peace Memorial, where a portion of Gandhi's ashes is enshrined; a small museum with exhibits on Paramahansa Yogananda's work; and a gift shop with arts and crafts from India.

Whenever one travels, indeed one finds a great deal of comfort in the air-conditioned, first -class compartment.
But, if the train does not move towards its destination, what is the benefit of that comfort?
Similarly, GOD has Bestowed upon you this comfortable vehicle -the human body- for making a move towards your real destination, which is
GOD REALIZATION.
But, what shall be the benefit of this vehicle if it does not move towards its destination?
Certainly, of no ultimate benefit.
Therefore, you should see whether or not your vehicle is moving towards its real destination.
Unfortunately, your body is attached to mundane consciousness by five strong chains;
(1) attachment to the material body due to ignorance of Spiritual facts,
(2) attachment to kinsmen due to bodily relations,
(3) attachment to the land of birth and to material possessions viz; house, furniture, estates, property, business papers etc. ,
(4) attachment to material science, which is always mysterious for want of Spiritual Light,
(5) attachment to religious forms and Holy rituals without the knowledge of the PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD.
These anchor the body like a deep rooted banyan tree, which ever increases its strong hold on the earth.
Indeed, it is very difficult to uproot such a strong banyan tree.
But, with your firm determination you can cut down this tree with the weapon of detachment.
The practice and detachment shall certainly reach you your real destination.
