Encinitas, California
The Self-Realization Fellowship Encinitas Hermitage, and Meditation Gardens is a monastic ashram and meditation gardens in Encinitas, California, United States created by Paramahansa Yogananda. Its golden lotus towers rise above the white wall along Highway 101 near Swami's Seaside Park.
The Carbon market is a shopping street in the 1st district of Vienna Inner City. It extends from the St. Michael's Square to the Ditch and due to a high density of jewelers and branches of international fashion labels the Carbon market is considered as luxury shopping street of Vienna.
History
The carbon market in 1900
The history of the Carbon market dates back to the time of the Roman legion camp Vindobona, whose southwestern gate, the later gate Peilertor, could be reached via the Carbon market. 1255 and 1304, it was mentioned as Witmarkt, 1314 and 1352 for the first time as a carbon market. The name is due to the original use as a selling place of charcoal merchants. After the erection of the Imperial Palace, the vicinity of the Carbon market to the Imperial residence has favored the establishment of producers of high quality and luxury goods. Since the Gründerzeit realization of Baroque planning for the Michaeler wing of the castle the Carbon market forms the sight axis towards Michaeler square.
Shops
The carbon market is (or was) location of many exclusive shops and former imperial Purveyors such as the Demel, the tobacco shop Mohilla, the Manz'sche publishing house and university bookshop and the cartographic institution Freytag & Berndt (the latter to April 2014 in Artaria-house). With the end of the monarchy, increasing competition and rising rents, however, many traditional companies saw themselves forced to close their shops such as the chamber watchmaker Franz Morawetz, and the Order jeweler CF Rothe & Neffe in January 2005. In their place international brands such as Chanel or a Louis Vuitton moved in. The Carbon market together with the Ditch and the Kärntner street forms the so-called "Golden U" of traditional downtown shopping streets that have an upscale offer and are designed as pedestrian zones. With average rents of 370 euros per square meter per month (2014), the Carbon market is the most expensive shopping street of Austria.

Der Kohlmarkt ist eine Einkaufsstraße im 1. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Innere Stadt. Er erstreckt sich vom Michaelerplatz bis zum Graben und gilt aufgrund einer hohen Dichte an Juwelieren und Filialen internationaler Modelabels als Luxusmeile Wiens.
Geschichte
Der Kohlmarkt um 1900
Die Geschichte des Kohlmarkts reicht bis zur Zeit des römischen Legionslagers Vindobona zurück, dessen südwestliches Tor, das spätere Peilertor, über den Kohlmarkt erreicht werden konnte. 1255 und 1304 wurde er als Witmarkt erwähnt, 1314 und 1352 erstmals als Kohlenmarkt. Der Name ist auf die ursprüngliche Verwendung als Verkaufsplatz von Holzkohlenhändlern zurückzuführen. Nach der Errichtung der Hofburg hat die Nähe des Kohlmarkts zur kaiserlichen Residenz die Ansiedlung von Erzeugern hochwertiger und luxuriöser Güter begünstigt. Seit der gründerzeitlichen Realisierung der barocken Planungen für den Michaelertrakt der Burg bildet der Kohlmarkt die Sichtachse in Richtung Michaelerplatz.
Geschäfte
Der Kohlmarkt ist (bzw. war) Standort vieler exklusiver Geschäfte und ehemaliger k.u.k. Hoflieferanten wie dem Demel, dem Tabakgeschäft Mohilla, der Manz'sche Verlags- und Universitätsbuchhandlung und der kartographischen Anstalt Freytag & Berndt (letztere bis April 2014 im Artaria-Haus). Mit dem Ende der Monarchie, zunehmendem Konkurrenzkampf und steigenden Mietpreisen sahen sich jedoch viele Traditionsunternehmen zur Schließung ihrer Geschäfte gezwungen, wie beispielsweise der Kammer-Uhrmacher Franz Morawetz, und der Ordensjuwelier C. F. Rothe & Neffe im Jänner 2005. An deren Stelle zogen internationale Marken wie Chanel oder Louis Vuitton ein. Der Kohlmarkt bildet gemeinsam mit dem Graben und der Kärntner Straße das sogenannte „Goldene U“ an traditionsreichen innerstädtischen Einkaufsstraßen, die über ein gehobenes Angebot verfügen und als Fußgängerzonen gestaltet sind. Mit Durchschnittsmietpreisen von 370 Euro pro Quadratmeter im Monat (2014) ist der Kohlmarkt die teuerste Einkaufsstraße Österreichs.

Construction is the realization of great architectural ideas. At the moment the shovel first pierces the ground, the abstracted journey of design gets translated into its literal counterpart. How do we attain Self-Realization/Atma Gnan? Is it only through positive intent? Or do we need a teacher?
Pujya Deepakbhai explains in this video, that only if we have infinite merit karma, we get a chance to see a Self-Realised Soul (that of a Spiritual Master) and we can also get Atma Gnan. It cannot be forced upon someone, the desire has to come from within.

The wave of emotions came and i realized it was that wave making me emotional and it was the circumstances that were meant to be like that.
