Because a pinhole projects such an ultrawide view, I really need to look for a good subject to shoot with. When I visited this Spanish Mission, I found a spot that could take advantage of such a wide view. I thought the use of Fujifilm Acros II for a pinhole camera was a little overkill due to its high price. I could have used Ilford HP5+ or Kodak T-Max 100.

sitting in the home of my Lae ancestor, Christopher Baret, in Norwich, England. He became mayor in the 1500's. His daughter married a Huntington and through that line, came to America, and was a signee of our Declaration of Independence. I descend from that line. My Mom was a Huntington. I was so excited to find his home in Norwich that is now a lovely restaurant. you can't see it in this pinhole image but his crest is in the window.

I love how a pinhole camera can turn seven seconds on a cloudy day at the beach in to a beautiful arrangement of lines and textures. Happy Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day everyone!
