Making Of images from our music video for Duologue.

Heheh, 2nd times the charm.

It seems this process mostly works, if successful ill be able to use a new IFTTT script to automatically blog any photo I upload to Flickr with a specific tag attached. I'm loving the customizability of IFTTT in being able to format the post how I like, adding in HTML, and automating the post test and title from the photo upload,

If all goes to plan ill be able to quickly launch off posts from a phone or mobile tablet with just a few minutes, and they will be automatically formatted and posted here.

I'll be sharing the process and IFTTT recipes in a future post, but lets see if I set it up right this time.

VersuS visualizing the realtime lives of cities: Riots in Rome Oct. 15th

www.artisopensource.net/2011/10/16/versus-rome-october-15...

The peaks and contours you see represent the intensity of the communication and conversations that was taking place from the start of the protest (at 3pm local time) up until its approximate end (at 8pm local time).

VersuS is a spin-off of the ConnectiCity project, and is intended to create tools that enable us to imagine, design and create new tools for the city.

In VersuS the possibility to capture and understand the conversations on social networks is transformed into a tool with infinite uses, whose main goal is to propose new forms of citizenship and human relation, and to also suggest institutions and organizations new methodologies and strategies to innovate their understanding of their cities and to design and enact strategies which leverage new possible sensibilities to the desires, wishes and creativity of people.

These and other topics will be discussed at the Share Festival and at the FabLab Italia during the first week of November 2011, where we will present the “VersuS” project.

Are you between 16 and 30 years old and do you run a project with a European dimension? Starting now projects promoting Europe among young people can start competing for the 9th Charlemagne Youth Prize. Winning projects will not only benefit from recognition and media coverage, but also from prize money to further develop the initiative. You have until 25 January 2016 to register for next year's edition.

The Charlemagne Youth Prize is organised by the European Parliament and the International Charlemagne Prize Foundation in Aachen and is awarded each year to projects run by young people aged between 16 and 30. The winning projects should provide models for young people living in Europe and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.

The three winning projects are chosen from the 28 projects nominated by national juries in the individual EU member states and are awarded either €5,000, €3,000 or €2,000. Their representatives will be invited to visit the European Parliament in Brussels or Strasbourg in the autumn.

Made with (codename) Flint, a C++ framework being developed by Barbarian Group.

Working on a new sample project. Basically, Andrew is suggesting things for me to try in C++ that are just out of my comfort zone. It is like an evolving quiz.

What you see are 20,000 particles being pulled by a combination of gravitational forces and orbital forces.

All of the fields are placed manually with mouse clicks. Runs in realtime.

If someone can help me get Catriona upright I'd be very happy (the rotate function is causing me grief...)

I covered the final day of the walk when they entered South Straub Park My mother is a two-time survivor. I relished the opportunity to tweet the story and photograph the event.

I tweeted their stories and activities using a smart phone. These can be read and seen at twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/5wa%20%23the3day

This is the power of Social Media to help spread the word about the cause! Next year we will organize a Team Social Media!
