PopRally, in collaboration with DIS magazine and Ryan Trecartin, invites you to a closing celebration for the MoMA PS1 exhibition Ryan Trecartin: Any Ever, featuring live performances by AraabMUZIK, 15-year-old Glasspopcorn (prod. Ryder Ripps), #HDBOYZ, and other special guests.

This image is the final interactive effect entirely made with vvvv. No post-production on it at all, it is 100% generated in realtime.
The idea : if there is someone in front of the controller the spray/ball will transform into the Spectral and you can control it with your Kinect.
Then, if there is nobody, the Spectral will transform back into the spray/ball and move around.

it's always such a challenge to get these in real time, with wind and rain still around me...but this one and the one following worked out well.
You probably couldn't find two more different bloggers than Heather
Armstrong and Jason Kottke. It made for an entertaining, if exceedingly
inside baseball, conversation.
